Seamus and I enjoy going to Literati Cafe quite a bit. We mostly go for breakfast and they have a nice selection and the bonus is breakfast is served all day! The only issue for us is that you have to go in and order and then take a number to your table. They then deliver your order as it is ready. If you don't have someone along with you to watch your dog when you go in to place an order, dining here could be a challenge.
There are three areas for you to sit with your pooch. There are a few tables in front on Wilshire Boulevard, two little tables just off the parking lot and a the one of the nicest places to sit is the covered patio that runs along Bundy. To access this patio you enter from the parking lot in Exit door, don't worry we do it all the time. This is the best spot in my opinion. The staff is pretty active bringing food and drinks out so if one of them doesn't offer to bring over a water bowl or do it automaticly it is easy enough to ask someone to grab one. Overall the food tends to focus on the organic side and is pretty tastey 90% of the time. Hey, we all have our 10% off moments. Lots of actors (unkonown) and writers (unknown) will populate the tables and you can observe them reading or writing scripts. Overall a great spot.

Very convenient place as we are in walking distance. Located on the corner of Bundy and Wilshire it can be easy to miss with all the Hussle and Bussle that is Wilshire. They have a small parking lot behind their restaurant. Plenty of outdoor seating both in front and my favorite, off the side as its in closed, and is covered in various foliage giving an out in nature out away from the city feel.
Service is friendly and helpful but can be tricky if your alone with your pup. No table service here, so you need to order at the counter then take your number to the table of your preference. Only thing is having to wait in a line inside a busy cafe with a pup may not be as easy as it sounds. So, little advice, come with a friend so one can order and the other can grab a table with the pup. Less stress on the pup and make things a bit easier, especially if other fur friends are around.
Great food, simple cafe items you see in most wholesome organic cafes with great coffee and pastry selection. Recommend for breakfast or lunch or even just a cup of coffee.

The Literati Cafe is a great dog friendly cafe in West Los Angeles that have great organic food, juices and coffee. This is a very popular place for locals to grab a bite and hunker down with their laptop or have a small meeting. There are several areas inside and 3 areas outside to enjoy with your pooch. The Literati Cafe is a great spot for breakfast, lunch & dinner or just a nice coffee or tea, bring by your dog and enjoy.
