This historical house is located in a neighborhood and right off of Hollywood Blvd, but if you don't know it's there, you could easily pass right by it. The grounds are open and spacious. However the house itself is locked up and only accessible via an event. The property is fenced in, there is an upper portion which is the main lawn area adjacent to the house and the lower portion which has a bunch of palm trees, plants, etc. I recommend just hanging out on the lawn, be sure to bring a blanket to lay on and plenty of water. On the weekends, it's obviously more crowded than during the week. I always go on the weekdays that way Miley has the lawn to herself minus a few other humans.

This property also abuts Runyon Canyon and I've heard is accessible if you don't mind a strenuous somewhat hilly, plant-filled, slippery ascent. There are also quite a few trees that offer fantastic shade. You can access the property off of Curson but also off of Franklin Ave. there is a gate that is unlocked sunrise to sunset.

The Wattles Mansion and Gardens Park this beautiful old historic Hollywood property has a spacious lawn for you and your dog to enjoy the feeling of a bygone era. The Wattles Garden Park has trails connecting to Runyon Canyon Park.
