Whittier Narrows is more of a park than a hike, but a great spot to come and excersie with your dog and enjoy some nice open green spaces in this 1,492-acre park. Whittier Narrows is located in the City of South El Monte and is one of Los Angeles County’s largest and most popular recreation areas. The park is located on both sides of the Pomona Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard and Santa Anita Avenue.
