DoVE Foster Families play an important role in our rescue efforts of dog meat trade pups.

When you open your home, you and your foster begin a life changing journey as a scared pup grows into a trusting, fun loving dog. You provide the valuable bridge from shelter life to a forever home.

Come join us as we celebrate our DoVE dog foster families and invite interested dog lovers for lunch, sharing experiences, hearing testimonials, learning more about our Foster Program and of course meeting a few special DoVE dogs!

DoVE Project was created in August 2016 as a non-profit organization supporting the end of the dog meat trade in South Korea where the industry is legally sanctioned. We believe that ultimate change must come from within the country. To that end, the scope of our work integrates rescue efforts, advocacy and education in both S. Korea and the US.

Opening your home as a foster to a dog rescued from the dog meat trade means you are joining a meaningful movement effecting positive change. We’re excited to celebrate our amazing foster families and look forward to welcoming new families into our program.
