All in the comfort and convenience of your own home! Philosophy Our methods are humane and effective, utilizing positive techniques founded in the latest of canine research and science. We do not believe in instructing dogs through physical punishment or appeasement-based techniques. Instead, we teach our clients how to interact and communicate with their dogs in such a way that the dog is excited to listen and learn! We aim to have smart owners, as well as smart dogs. Teaching a dog a new cue or behavior is best done using a "break it down" technique. Tasks that may seem simple to our adult, human brains are often times incredibly complicated in the eyes of our dogs. Often, we forget to break down the task, or rush through everything, and are left confused as to why the dog isn't following along (or we get too impatient and give up). We end up thinking, "I guess he's just not that smart," when in reality we haven't communicated in the manner best suited for how dogs learn. The best human-dog relationships come from the human's understanding of how the dog is taking in all the information around. Along the way both you and your dog will develop amazing new skills in how the other operates.
