    This Santa Monica Dog Park has a 1.25-acre off leash area, with separate areas for large and small dogs. You do need a seperate permit for Santa Monica Dog Parks. The Herb Katz Dog Park is inside Joslyn Park which offers a playground, basketball court and plenty of open space. Herb Katz Dog Park is the only off leash dog park area in Joslyn Park.
