L.A. Love & Leashes is the first "pet store" that is 100% dedicated to animals at L.A.'s six city animal shelters -- finding them homes and saving their lives. The store is a program of the volunteer-run, non-profit Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters.

All of the amazing dogs and cats brought to the store for adoption come from our city shelters (Los Angeles Animal Services) and each morning, the staff of the Los Angeles Animal Services West LA shelter drives dogs and cats to the mall, greeting the store staff with between 5-8 dogs and 5-6 cats. The dogs and cats who come to the store are housed at the West LA shelter, but are chosen from all of the LAAS shelters.

The store is supported solely by donations and the sale of pet-related merchandise. Adopt and save a life. Shop knowing it's for a good cause!
