A very unique garden at UCLA to take a little stroll with your dog.

PET POLICY
Dogs are allowed in the garden but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please stay on the paths and clean up after your pet. This helps us protect our plants from being damaged and keeps your pet healthy by ensuring they don’t eat things that could make them unwell.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING
The Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden is located on the southeastern corner of the UCLA campus in West Los Angeles, California. The Garden can be accessed from multiple gates. The main entrance is located at the La Kretz Garden Pavilion (707 Tiverton Ave. Los Angeles California, 90095). Restrooms are available in this building.

There is very limited parking at UCLA on weekdays, and we recommend taking public transportation, biking, or ride share options. The Metro, Culver City, and Santa Monica buses all have stops near the Botanical Garden. On weekends, there is more available parking, but we still recommend these options.

Visitors can park in Visitor Parking in UCLA Parking Structure 2. Rates are $3/hour or $13/day, and you must pay with your license plate # at a kiosk when you park. Do not wait to pay until you return or you will likely be ticketed. Do not park in spots labeled with a permit type other than green visitor parking. There are also metered parking spots in Westwood Village and on Manning Ave.
