A nice easy hike...except for the end! I am already looking forward to going back to hike Sullivan Canyon again. It is a very easy going trail with lots of shade and a bit of rough terrain. Basically you are hiking on or next to a creek bed that trickles during the summer, but I imagine that if there is any rain it can get quite wet. There tends to be more mountain bikers on this trail as it is a gentle grade vs. the steeper grades on some of the other hikes. Be sure to keep an eye on your dog as some of them will remind you to keep your dog on a leash and will blaze past you. There are also a number of cement erosion control blocks throughout the trail that can be just a little tricky to navigate. Overall a great trail.

Sullivan Canyon is a great dog friendly hiking trail located in Brentwood that has some fantastic vistas and nice elevation changes.
