    This is very hard to write because I still miss my dear Astro so much. Hearts & Halos came to my home to help me say goodbye to my best friend of 10 years. My heart is breaking all over again as I write this. The one thing that truly helped was how calm and peaceful Hearts & Halos made the whole process. I laid a blanket on the ground and put Astro's bed on it. I laid next to him and held him while Dr. Ann Marie administered the medication. He very peacefully drifted off, free from pain and the brain tumor taking over his body. I've had to take furry family members to the vet office to say goodbye before, and it's always stressful in addition to heartbreaking. I cannot thank Hearts & Halos enough for making this such a peaceful and loving ceremony. His ashes came home to me in less than a week in a beautiful engraved box. I thank Hearts &Halos from the bottom of my heart for their care and compassion in this truly devastating loss. 💔

    The compassion and professionalism shown by the Hearts and Halos was unparalleled. We were able to love and comfort our Tuck through every step of his journey. From Autumn who answered the phone and all my questions patiently, to the care team that came to our home and guided us through every step medically and spiritually to ensure that our 9 year old daughter had agency and was as much a part of the process as she was comfortable with. We were given the time we needed for our good byes and privacy when it was appropriate. A truly thoughtful team.
