I adopted my dog from Much Love over 10 years ago and couldn't be happier. They were very careful about taking my application and doing a home check to make sure it was a good environment for my dog to live in. Recently, I have fostered a few dogs from Much Love and I am so impressed with how they pick, not just the dogs they know will be very adoptable, but also go through the back rooms where dogs who are sick or injured might not get to be shown to the public and have a chance to be adopted. It's a great organization with very dedicated and knowledgeable people running it.

I love this rescue. They really care for the dogs and the owner is super friendly. Great rescue to work with.

Professional, ethical, and efficient. Would not hesitate to recommend adoption through MLAR! I recently adopted a puppy from them, they were amazing to work with, and you can tell that they truly care about each animal they work with. MLAR has also helped me save and home several rescues which I will forever be grateful for...one of the rescues who was in a bad shape, they did not hesitate to do whatever it took to get her healthy and find her a good home. MLAR and their team, Nikki, Jude and Sarah are the absolute best! It is the absolute best rescue that I have ever worked with. Not only are they honest and forthright but they sincerely care about their dogs and adopters.

Much Love is dedicated to the following goals:

* Rescuing homeless animals from animal shelters who have not been adopted and are scheduled to be euthanized. Much Love takes the animals who have been in the shelters the longest and will die unless rescued
* Securing funding for a no-kill facility where rescued pets can be safely sheltered without the threat of euthanization until we find adoptive parents for them
* Providing medical care to neglected, abused and injured animals
* Rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals and finding them loving homes
* Promoting the importance of spaying and neutering pets in order to drastically reduce the number of unwanted animals on the street (It’s the LAW in Los Angeles to spay and neuter your pets!!!)
* Educating children and adults alike on responsible pet guardianship
