If you're looking to rescue a dog (or cat) this is a great place to visit. NKLA is a movement by the Best Friends Society and has a great adoption center that is very clean and pleasant to visit. There are animals there from over 85 different rescue organizations and they each have a nice clean area to wait in. You can take them for a walk or there is a nice social are for you to connect in. The great thing about going here is knowing that there is not a timer ticking on the animals lives you're visiting. Keep up the great work NKLA!

NKLA is the premiere adoption center in Los Agneles and it was created as an initiative for Best Friends Animal Society. The goal is to ending 100% of the killing of healthy and treatable pets in Los Angeles. Located in West Los Angeles it features a collection of dogs from NKLA Coalition partners which is comprised of over 80 independant dog rescue organizations from the Greater LA Area.
