OK, this is really about my dog-like cat Isaac. He shared my life for almost 17 years as a faithful companion and meow-box. One day I could just tell he was not doing well, not at all. He has acted sick before and bounced back, but I have been waiting for this day to come and here is was. No bouncing back. I realized it was time and I knew that taking him in a car and bringing him to the vet would only stress him out and piss him off. Not what I wanted to do to my little friend in his last hours. I decided to get a vet to come to my house.

I called 911 Vets and the dispatcher was very warm and professional. She took my number and called me back quickly. Thankfully Dr. Steve Weinberg was able to come over that same day. His energy was nice and mellow as I greeted him at the door and se discussed the situation. He didn't try to sway me one way or the other but gave me his honest opinion, I was thankful that he was not quick to do the deed, but rather discuss it and all the potential options and outcomes. Through the process he was kind and quick and before I knew it, it was over. A very sad day for me, but I consider myself lucky to have had him there for me and my buddy Isaac. Thank you Dr. Steve.
