Overall, I think that this is a great park. There is a lot of space for large dogs...a lot and a decent small dog area. Plentiful water supply, benches, and shaded areas. There are usually other friendly dogs there for your dog to play with, however, that is where the challenges can come into play. Many of the owners and dog walkers do not pay enough attention to their dog(s), allowing them to leave nice piles of goodness for you to step in or they allow their dogs to interrupt your game of fetch with your dog. However, as long as you watch your step and usually there is enough space to get away from the "problem dogs" you will have a good experience. Bonus thought: Midday you will find the park dominated by dog walkers, which can be a good source of free advice.
