It started with a love of dogs.

Opening in 2009, and quickly becoming a neighborhood institution, Blue Dog Beer Tavern was born out of a love of dogs and Belgian style beer. The area was itching for a good burger joint with down-home vibes, so with labors of love, the early 1940s house-turned-doctor’s office was transformed into a bustling pub-style restaurant.

We strive to create a safe, casual, and authentic “tavern/ public house” experience every day.

We love dogs just as much as we love you, so please feel free to bring your fur babies into the space.
With our friendly, female-led staff, we continually try to make your day a little bit better, enhance your knowledge on beer, and encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and try something new, be it food or drink!
