The property for Conejo Creek North Park was originally acquired in 1972. The Master Plan was approved in 1989. This 44-acre natural creekside site was completed in 1992. One of the District's most popular parks, with two ponds connected by a recirculating meandering stream is home to the Main Library, Teen Center and Senior Center. The park has reservable picnic structures of varying sizes with a total park capacity of several thousand visitors during major community events and festivals.
