1.6 acre Off-Leash Dog Park located on North end of the John Ferraro Soccer Field on North Zoo Dr. adjacent to the 134 and 5 freeway. Runs next to Los Angeles River Bike Path.

Griffith Park is maintained by the LA County Recreations and Parks. The park is open daily to the general public from 5:00 am - 10:30 pm. Activities within the park are extended further than just relaxing and dog walking. This is home to the Griffith observatory and also neighbors the Hollywood Sign. With other activities such as horseback riding and hiking there are alternate hours of operation to recognize. Bridle trails, hiking paths, and mountain roads are closed at sunset. The speed limit on all park roads is 25 mph and is strictly enforced. Be aware the brush is very dry and NO open fires are allowed.
