She was elected to the Glendora City Council in 2005 and has served as the city’s mayor. She is the mother of two girls Hannah and Mattea. Her husband Pastor Greg Davis serves Central Christian Church of Glendale. Rev. Karen Davis

The founding members of our congregation worked together, in faith, to plant the seeds of this congregation. Their hope was to build a community of faith founded on scripture and tradition that could, in turn, reach out to the community to share the Good News in both word and deed. That hope and vision brought the congregation to the corner of Bennett and Glendora Avenues in 1922, and has enabled many vital and valuable ministries throughout the years.

First Christian Church continues to be vital because of God’s power and presence, and because a congregation is its people. The people of First Christian Church are diverse yet united in mission and purpose. You will find individuals, couples, single-parent households, widows, the employed, the retired, the young, and the mature. As diverse as all of these people might be they are united as one in Christ. As the Apostle Paul wrote to the Colossians, “…Christ is all, and in all.” Since 1885, First Christian Church has been committed to serving and worshiping God, and dedicated to

meeting the needs of people in Glendora and beyond. We are more than just a church, we are a community center – a place where we build community, and a center for ministry to the community.

We invite you to worship with us, and to join with us in mission and ministry to the community.
